These games are fun for the whole family; serious athletic ability is not required.

The games are divided between team sports and individual games of skill. They will occur in the pool, around the pool, and in other nearby areas of the park.

Dinner will be served for an additional fee. The price and menu are yet to be announced. Sign up for dinner in the café. The awards ceremony will take place after dinner.

  • At Noon, we will meet on the club patio to deliver instructions to all participants.
  • SCNA members wishing to participate (or watch) must RSVP to us at (818) 225-2273 by 8/6 so we can give Olive Dell a list for their office.
  • Bring your SCNA membership card to check in at the gate.

Saturday, August 20, Noon to 6:00 PM

Location:

Bates Beach, Carpinteria, CA

Another sunny beach event! To get our beach back it is important that we keep showing up to get the non-nudists who come to the beach to see they have nothing to fear from us, and that it is okay for us to claim the unused western end of the beach.

The Santa Barbara nudity law remains in effect. Persons removing their swimsuit do so at their own risk. Go as bare as you dare! Your decision, your choice!

Bring your own picnic supplies, chairs, bathing suits and sunscreen and make a day of it. Afterwards we will all go into Carpinteria to eat and pay for our meals with $2 bills!

Call us at (818) 225-2273 or RSVP to scna@socalnaturist.org.

Zorthian Ranch Party

Our annual pool party at the eclectic art-filled ranch in the foothills of Altadena

Location:

Altadena

Cost:

Members and Non-Members: $25/person, Children under 18: No Charge

The famous Zorthian Ranch is a 48-acre mountainside artists' enclave in the hills above Altadena and Pasadena, which has been used for fashion shoots, movie locations, and has been the site of the annual LA Folk Festival in years past. The Ranch was the life work of the late Jirayr Zorthian (1911-2004), who was considered a significant artist of the 20th century and whose paintings and sculptures adorn federal buildings, from the Pentagon to Post Offices around the country. The ranch displays many of his works, and it has a conference center, an outdoor stage, and a large swimming pool that overlooks the city.

We have rented out the entire property for the afternoon, so to cover our costs we are opening up the party to the Olympians, YNA, Camping Bares, and NitOC clubs to enjoy the day with us.

This is always a great experience for SCNA members and guests to enjoy! For more information about the Ranch, see their web site at: www.zorthianranch.com
