This spaghetti sauce requires a Crock Pot. It was introduced at a club "Bingo Night" dinner in 2008. By popular demand, it has been served and many club events ever since. Always a hit!
| 1 Pound Lean ground beef |
| 1/2 Pound Italian sausage, remove from casings |
| 1 Cup Onion - chopped (about 1 large onion) |
| 2 Cloves Garlic - minced |
| 29 Oz Canned Tomatoes - diced or broken up |
| 16 Oz Tomato sauce |
| 8 Oz Canned sliced mushrooms, drained |
| 1 Cup Green bell pepper - chopped |
| 4 Tbs Tapioca, quick-cooking |
| 2 Whole Bay Leaves |
| 1 Tsp Dried leaf basil, crumbled |
| 1 Tsp Dried leaf oregano, crushed |
| 1/4 Tsp Ppper |
| Salt to taste |
