Sugar Cookie Fruit Tart Dessert

This is a beautiful dessert to serve either as part of a formal dinner (Thanksgiving, etc.) or as a fun surprise during summer. It is easy to make and I guarantee your guests will be demanding a copy of the recipe to take home themselves!

1 pkg Nestle Toll House Refrigerated Sugar Cookie Dough (18 oz)
1 pkg Cream Cheese (8 oz) – Softened
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 1/2 cups Fruit (i.e., berries, sliced kiwi, peaches, strawberries)

Sugar Cookie Fruit Tart Dessert Directions

  1. Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees F
  2. Grease bottom & side of a 9-inch fluted tart pan with removable bottom.*
  3. Press cookie dough evenly into prepared pan.
  4. Bake for 22-27 minutes or until lightly golden and wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
  5. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in small mixer bowl until smooth. Spread evenly over cooled cookie crust to within ½” of edge.
  6. Arrange fruit as desired on top of cream cheese mixture (example pictured above).
  7. Refrigerate for one hour.
  8. Remove rim of pan; slice into wedges.
  9. * If tart pan is not available, press cookie dough into greased baking sheet to measure 8” inch circle. Bake for 18-22 minutes until lightly golden.
