Southern California Naturist Association, Family-Friendly Nude Recreation
Welcome to the Southern California Naturist Association

SCNA is a clothing-optional travel club. We are a group of nudists and like-minded friends in the Greater Los Angeles area with no specific park or resort to call home. That frees us to explore the many opportunities for recreation and socializing that are available in our warm, beautiful region.

Within these pages you may encounter pictures of normal people just like you having fun camping, hiking, boating, and such, except they are doing so without the restriction of clothing. This website reflects our family-friendly orientation and illustrates the fun activities that we enjoy. It also has many articles and links that are excellent resources for expanding one’s understanding of nudism in America and world-wide.

If you are under age or otherwise not permitted to view frontal nudity in your home or community, please leave this site now. If you are looking for sexual content, or photos of children, you have definitely come to the wrong place!

Tuesday, March 13, 6:45 PM to 8:30 PM

Second Tuesday of Every Month

Location:

San Fernando Valley / Van Nuys
Each month, SCNA hosts a monthly (clothed) dinner and discussion group at different public restaurants around the greater Los Angeles area. This is a way to introduce new people to naturism and to dispel mistaken impressions that non-nudists may have about us. This meeting is also a prerequisite before we can invite you to one of our clothing-optional events. Anyone with a sincere interest in discussing naturist issues is welcome.

Nude Hike to Deep Creek

Wednesday, March 14, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Location:

Deep Creek Hot Springs, San Bernardino Mountains

Cost:

$5 per person for daytime parking. Pay at the Bowen Ranch entrance, exact change in envelope with license number, if no one there to collect your fees

NitOC is leading a clothing optional hike starting at the Bowen Ranch parking lot trailhead at 10 am Sunday morning, weather permitting. As this time of the year daylight hours are limited the plan would be to hike out around 3 p.m. which should give us plenty of time to be back at the parking lot by dusk. This should still give us about four hours to soak and socialize in the different pools.

You are responsible for your own equipment, food and drink to pack in (and to pack out any trash or leftovers!)

Note: The dirt road from the gate to the parking lot is in poor condition. A truck, pickup or 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended, but whatever you drive, be careful.

Still tip-toeing down the lanes!

Location:

Montrose

Cost:

$20 per person, including non-bowlers.
Price includes shoes. Advance payment required.

As before, we have rented out the entire bowling alley for the event and it has complete privacy from the street. There will be nobody there but us for these 3 hours.

We have opened up this event to our friends at the other local clubs to be sure to cover our costs.

The $20 is required to attend (even if you don’t bowl), which is cheaper than if you went to a clothed bowling event and rented shoes, ate food, etc. The cost includes shoes.

This will be a finger food pot luck event, with the bowling alley providing water, soft drinks, and beer and wine for a nominal sum. They have no kitchen or refrigerator available so any food you bring must be prepared in advance (bring a cooler if your food must be kept chilled.)

We will have prizes for best scores.

Important! We need a head count of who is coming as the have to limit the number of people to 50. We need the full name of any non-SCNA member at least 36 hours in advance so that we can do our background checks.
