Zorthian Ranch Pool Party and Talent Show

This scheduled event is in the past.

Saturday, September 8, Noon to 7:00 PM

Our annual pool party at the eclectic art-filled ranch in the foothills of Altadena

Location:

Altadena

Cost:

Members and Non-Members: $30/person, Children under 18: No Charge

The famous Zorthian Ranch is a 48-acre mountainside artists' enclave in the hills above Altadena and Pasadena, which has been used for fashion shoots, movie locations, and has been the site of the annual LA Folk Festival in years past. The Ranch was the life work of the late Jirayr Zorthian (1911-2004), who was considered a significant artist of the 20th century and whose paintings and sculptures adorn federal buildings, from the Pentagon to Post Offices around the country. The ranch displays many of his works, and it has a conference center, an outdoor stage, and a large swimming pool that overlooks the city.

With faith that the bridge and road will be passable, we have again rented the property for the afternoon. We welcome all of our great friends from the other naturist clubs in the region to enjoy the day with us.

This is always a great experience for SCNA members and guests to enjoy! For more information about the Ranch, see their web site at: www.zorthianranch.com

GOT TALENT?

The Zorthian Bacchus Stage has now seen three fun SCNA talent shows, so we are going to go for a fourth! Bring your instruments and serenade us, tell a joke or two, read a story or poem, juggle, dance, whatever your talent is that you’d like to show off, start practicing now for the party on September 8. Please let us know if you would like to perform as soon as possible so we can work you into the show!

SCNA will provide soda and water. Please bring a pot luck dish to share.

Important! We need the full name of any NON-SCNA member at least 48 hours in advance in order to verify membership with the other clubs and/or to perform our usual background checks. NON-SCNA members will also be required to secure their RSVP’s with payment via PayPal, check, or Money Order, 48 hours prior to the event.

PLEASE RSVP to SCNA at (818) 225-2273 or via email to scna@socalnaturist.org. About five days before the event specific directions will be sent to those who RSVP.
