Zorthian Pool Party & Talent Show

Due to the excessive heat on our original date of 9/7, we've changed the date of this party to Saturday, September 28.

Once again we are planning to meet at Zorthian Ranch in the hills above Altadena. The Ranch was the life work of the late Jirayr Zorthian (1911-2004), a world- famous artist. Many of his unique sculptures, paintings and structures are on display here.

Say goodbye to the dog days of summer with naturists from all over Southern California, some who will come all the way up from San Diego, or down from as far as San Luis Obispo for this party. Our annual Pool Party at this eclectic artist's colony in the San Gabriel foothills has become one of our most popular parties in the last 5 years!

Skinny-dip in the same natural salt-water pool that Charlie Parker enjoyed after recording one of his albums here. Stroll the grounds naturally enjoying the various sculpture, artwork, and structures. Or just relax and soak up the sun and good vibes from your fellow naturists!

Around 2:30-3 pm we will gather in the Plaza Del Primavera for our talent show so if you'd like to get up on stage and play an instrument, sing a song, tell a story or joke, read a poem, juggle, whatever. Now is the time to consider your talents that we know you want to share with your fellow naturists. Let us know if you'd like to share your talent when you RSVP.

We have rented out the entire property for the afternoon, so to cover our costs we are opening up the party to the Olympians, Camping Bares, and NitOC clubs to enjoy the day with us. We have also invited students of Blaize Hall's yoga classes.

Blaize Hall of Weeping Willow Wellness with be joining us to teach a yoga class at 1pm. All are welcome in this gentle yoga class. Blaize will guide an entry level flow to help welcome us into the space, set intentions and connect with our bodies through gentle movement and breath.

Blaize will also offer Reiki and Reiki-Informed Bodywork sessions throughout the event.

Parking: Everyone except handicapped attendees must park down below in the lower parking lot and take one of our shuttles up the narrow road to the ranch. The shuttles will run from 11:30 am until 1 pm. If you arrive after 1:00 you will have to walk uphill to the ranch. We will begin ferrying people down from 5:00 pm on.
