for New-Member Applicants

All new SCNA membership applicants must submit the following before we can consider your membership:

  • New Member Application Form (click to download form)
  • Signed Behavior Guidelines Form (pdf)
  • A copy of your current driver's license or other government-issued photo identification card (and also that of your partner if this is a couples membership)
  • A copy of a current photo of yourself (and your partner if this is a couples membership)
  • A photo copy of your current membership card if you also belong to AANR and/or The Naturist Society, or any other nudist club or national organization.

Applicants are subject to a pre-approval background check (we screen under Megan's Law and for other major felonies, and we also network with other clubs and nudist resorts for names of people who are on their "do not admit" lists.) We usually also ask to meet you in a clothed and public environment (like a restaurant) before membership is granted.Prospective new members are given a personal interview either by telephone or in person. Yes it is tedious and meticulous. The whole process may take several weeks but our members appreciate knowing they can bring their spouses and children to a nudist event in comfort and safety.

Membership is open to all regardless of race, religion, sexual preference or gender. Applicants must be age 18 or over, but they can be single or partnered/couples (same-sex partners or straight), or who have children (under age 18.) Married singles are also accepted, although we usually inform the other spouse/partner of the pending application. We do not discriminate against body jewelry or most tattoos.

Note: All first-time applications are subject to a non-refundable $30 processing fee

All Transactions are Secure and handled through PayPal. Upon approval, your membership will begin the first of the month following the date your on-line payment was processed. If your membership is rejected, the membership fee minus the transaction fee will be refunded to you.

Previous members whose SCNA card expired more than six months ago must go through the new member application once again.
