Southern California Naturist Association Events and Activities

Each month, SCNA hosts a monthly (clothed) dinner and discussion group at different public restaurants around the greater Los Angeles area. This is a way to introduce new people to naturism and to dispel mistaken impressions that non-nudists may have about us. This meeting is also a prerequisite before we can invite you to one of our clothing-optional events. Anyone with a sincere interest in discussing naturist issues is welcome.

1. This is a clothed event. In fact, “business-casual” attire is recommended. This is also the one party each year where an individual can feel comfortable bringing their non-nudist spouse or partner who would not otherwise share an event with us. The idea is to provide a non-threatening opportunity to have them meet the group.

2. Annual Awards: This lunch is our opportunity to thank those members who have volunteered above and beyond the call of duty during the past year. Our award ceremony will be the highlight, as it is every year.

3. White Elephant Gift Exchange: For those of you who may not know, these are usually old nick-knack items that have been stored in your garage or attic. It's mainly for laughs, so something outrageous is okay. You can also wrap something that is nice that you just don’t need it any more. We really don’t want you buying anything, but if you decide to purchase a small gift anyway, spend no more than $10 max. Your gift MUST be wrapped to participate, and that means two gifts if you are a couple. There should be NO TAGS attached to say who it is from!

4. There will be a raffle drawing for some additional prizes.

OPEN TO MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS

Travel Day is a monthly opportunity on a specific Saturday when non-landed travel club members in Southern California can visit Glen Eden Nudist Resort for a discounted gate fee. You MUST show your SCNA membership card at the GE registration office and pay $15 to gain admittance. Join with members of other travel (non-landed) clubs and enjoy the pool, volleyball, tennis, restaurant, etc., for the entire day!

All Glen Eden rules apply. These days do count toward their three-visit limit before one must apply for GE membership. Married persons are expected to attend with their spouse and may be denied entry otherwise.
