By popular demand (from your submitted Activity Surveys) we have brought back the Toga-theme, so dig out those special sheets and let's see some creativity out there!

We have tossed in a Best Salad Contest as well, so get creative with your favorite greens, veggie ingredients, pastas, and dressings! If you are not participating in the contest just bring a side dish to share. We’ll also vote on the best toga! We expect 30-40 people to attend.

RSVP to (818) 225-2273 or scna@socalnaturist.org. Space limited to the first 40 people.

Nude Hike to Deep Creek

This scheduled event is in the past.

Sunday, March 15, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Hike to Deep Creek Hot Springs

Location:

Deep Creek Hot Springs, San Bernardino Mountains

Cost:

$10 for overnight camping per person, $5 per person for daytime parking. Pay at the Bowen Ranch entrance, exact change in envelope with license number, if no one there to collect your fees

SCNA is joining NitOC, Camping Bares, and YNA in a joint event at Deep Creek Hot Springs. We will meet at the Bowen Ranch parking area between 10 and 10:30 a.m. We will hike down around 10:30.

The hike down to the trail is moderate if you are in fair shape. It is two miles long with a 970 foot drop in elevation. That means a very uphill slope on the way back! It is not handicapped accessible.

Remember, there are no toilets, no water and no supplies available so be sure to bring everything you need. Don't forget your water, sunscreen lotion, hat, food, and comfortable hiking attire although you may hike nude both ways if you wish.

Because the 5-mi dirt road from the gate to the parking lot is in very poor condition; a 4-wheel drive truck or other high-clearance vehicle is recommended but not required.

RSVP early to (818) 225-2273 so we can get a head count and help with any car pooling, which we also recommend.
