We continue to attempt in-person pool parties as 2021 COVID regulations may allow.

If things improve we may open it up to more people, and conversely, we may have to cancel it if conditions deteriorate. We hope to continue celebrating Spring on Southern California with some of you naturally!

No potluck or common beverage containers, please bring your own food and drink.

Those participating in the Beer Mile will attempt to drink a 12oz beer as quickly as possible and then run ¼ mile. Repeat the process three more times. After the four beers and 1 mile you’ve completed the race, and, following any short-term reflux effects, are likely on your way to a very happy afternoon.

It is open to anyone who can drink and run, jog, skip, saunter, walk or crawl for one mile. If you don't enjoy beer, there is an option of drinking a carbonated beverage. Sorry,water, juices, milk or a double latte don't qualify.

The cost to participate is $10, which includes the beer and specialty selected prizes for top finishers. You also need to buy a day pass to Olive Dell Ranch which range from $16 to $22 per person. That also gets you full access to the resort with swimming pool, jacuzzi, hiking trails, and an evening karaoke party. All naked of course.

Advance reservations are not required; a registration table will be set up by the clubhouse starting at 2 pm on Saturday.

If possible, one should come for the whole weekend and do the Naked Beer Mile on Saturday and the Bare Burro Nude 5K on Sunday. There are plenty of camping and RV spaces available.

About the event:

Check-in starts at 8:00am, with the race beginning about 10:30 AM. Some may choose to walk the race instead of run — there will be a group doing so that you can join. Race entries are limited to 300 persons, and the entry fees go up on April 1, so Register Online right away if you wish to enter. Spouse and partners may watch, and won't be required to get nude to do so, but nudity is required in the pool, spa and clubhouse area if one remains for the day.

Dress code for the race:

The actual race is run nude except for socks and running shoes. Women may wear a sports bra. Be sure to bring a towel in case you want to wipe off or sit down.

Are you a movie fan?

Some of you could care less, and some of you love it, so for those of you who would like view it clothing-optionally with others, we will have an Academy Award Black Tie “Oscar” Viewing party on the evening of April 25th.

Due to space concerns we must limit attendance to 20 members. We are asking each person for a $5 donation some of which will go towards prizes for an Oscar Bingo game, and the person who picks the most winners on an Oscar ballot, which will be provided.

The broadcast is from 5 – 8 pm.

Member Peter Connolly will host a camping trip to Saline Valley Hot Springs once again for this weekend. Join Peter and fellow naturists for 4 days of nude camping, hiking, mountain biking, and hot tub soaking in this idyllic desert oasis that’s part of Death Valley.

This is a remote location so everything one needs should be brought in, there are no stores or gas stations nearby. Peter will be bringing firewood, but you will need to bring everything else.

At this time of year expect cool evenings, warm days, and possibly very windy conditions.

We will try to help team up people for carpooling, but if you drive on your own you should have a high clearance vehicle as the last 40-50 miles of the drive is on dirt roads. One should also have at least one full size spare tire and the vehicle should be fully fueled and in good repair.

Cell service ranges from spotty to non-existent.
