Cost:

$5 per person for daytime parking. Pay at the Bowen Ranch entrance. If no one there to collect, place the exact fee in envelope with your vehicle license number.

Meet at the Bowen Ranch parking area between 10 and 10:30 a.m. If you miss us, hike down yourself and we will meet you at the hot springs.

The hike down to the trail is moderate if you are in fair shape. It is two miles long with a 970 foot drop in elevation. That means the slope is very uphill on the way back! It is not handicapped accessible.

Remember, there are no toilets, no water and no supplies available so be sure to bring everything you need. Don't forget your water, sunscreen lotion, hat, food, and comfortable hiking attire although you may hike nude both ways if you wish.

RSVP early to (818) 225-2273 so we can get a head count and arrange for car-pooling.

Those participating in the Beer Mile will attempt to drink a 12oz beer as quickly as possible and then run ¼ mile. Repeat the process three more times. It is open to anyone who can drink and run, jog, skip, saunter, walk or crawl for one mile. If you don't enjoy beer, there is an option of drinking a carbonated beverage. Sorry, water, juices, milk or a double latte don't qualify.

The cost to participate is $10, which includes the beer and specialty selected prizes for top finishers. You also need to buy a day pass to Olive Dell Ranch which range from $16 to $22 per person. That also gets you full access to the resort with swimming pool, jacuzzi, hiking trails, and an evening karaoke party. All naked of course.

Advance reservations are not required; a registration table will be set up by the clubhouse starting at 2 pm on Saturday.

If possible, one should come for the whole weekend and do the Naked Beer Mile on Saturday and the Bare Burro Nude 5K on Sunday. There are plenty of camping and RV spaces available.

There may still be cabins available at Olive Dell for the night before the race. Call Olive Dell at (909) 825-6619, and ask for Bobby.

Dragonfly Ladies Online Meetup

This scheduled event is in the past.

Thursday, April 30, 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM

Women-Only Gathering

Location:

To Be Determined

Cost:

Free

This is a casual gathering for the women of SCNA and their guests. They call themselves the Dragonfly Ladies because a curious dragonfly once joined them at the pool. This is an opportunity for women to meet and chat about whatever they like, without having men present. This is a great opportunity to invite a female friend who is curious about social nudity, but may prefer a gentle introduction.

Due to the current Stay-At-Home directives, the ladies have decided to get together in an online meeting format.

Please RSVP by email to scna@socalnaturist.org, or leaving a message at 818-225-2273. A link will be sent to those who respond.
