Another sunny beach event! To get our beach back it is important that we keep showing up to get the non-nudists who come to the beach to see they have nothing to fear from us, and that it is okay for us to claim the unused western end of the beach.

The Santa Barbara nudity law remains in effect. Persons removing their swimsuit do so at their own risk. Go as bare as you dare! Your decision, your choice!

Bring your own picnic supplies, chairs, bathing suits and sunscreen.

Members Appreciation Party

Once a year, SCNA cooks the main dish as our thank you for all your support the rest of the year. Our talented team will be grilling ribs and chicken. The club will also provide the soft drinks and water.

All you need to bring is a pot luck side dish or dessert, a folding chair, and a towel to sit on.

This year we are again holding the Members Appreciation Party in conjunction with our annual General Members Meeting at Arroyo del Sol in Altadena

General Members Meeting

July is again time for our General Members Meeting and election of a new board of directors!

SCNA is a California non-profit corporation and, per our bylaws, we hold an official members meeting at least once a year to review the finances and board actions. Our board meetings minutes and financial reports will be available for member inspection. Members may also consider motions to change how the club functions.

The annual general members meeting is also where we elect our new board of directors for the next year. In 2020, due to COVID-19 restrictions, and the need for an online meeting, we decided to have a mail-in ballot election. That did allow for direct participation by members who might not be able to attend the meeting. While it has not yet been decided, it is likely that we will continue to hold board elections prior to the meeting and announce the results at this meeting.

The board, in turn, elects the club officers to serve for the upcoming year. We encourage everyone to participate! Please let us know soon if you would like to run for a position on the board of directors, or one of the offices.

The Meeting will run from approximately 2:30PM to 3:30PM so we won’t interrupt your pool, spa and sun time too much.

Join us for our Online Game Party.

We have a variety of games that we can play together online (with or without clothes!) from different You Don't Know Jack party games to Cards Against Humanity to Bingo and others. All the while we'll have a BYOB cocktail party (alcohol not required, but it's more fun that way)!
