STRAWBERRY PIZZA

CHEF'S NOTES AND COMMENTS:

This unique dessert is quicker to prepare than it looks, approximately 45 minutes start to finish including baking time. Your guests will rave!

CRUST:

Ingredients
1 cup Flour
one-half cup Margarine
one-quarter cup Confectioners sugar

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

2. Combine ingredients and mix thoroughly by hand. Grease the pan with margarine.

3. Spread by hand onto a pizza pan to a thickness of approximately one-quarter of an inch.

4. Place in the center of the oven and bake 15 – 20 minutes or until golden brown.

5. Allow to cool before topping with filling


FILLING:

Ingredients
1 8 oz pkg. Philadelphia Cream Cheese
one-half cup Granulated sugar

Directions
1. Mix together thoroughly using an electric mixer.

2. Spread completely over the crust. (Be sure the crust is cool)


STRAWBERRIES:

Ingredients
2-3 baskets Strawberries
3 tablespoons Marie’s Glaze for strawberries

Directions
1. Slice the strawberries lengthwise, leaving at least 5 whole strawberries.

2. Set aside the whole strawberries.

3. Mix sliced strawberries with glaze.

4. Spread strawberry mixture over the filling.

5. Place one of the reserved whole strawberries in the center, and one each at the 3, 6 9 & 12 o’clock spots. Dress it up as much as your desire and talent will allow.

6. Drizzle a little of the remaining glaze on the whole strawberries.


TOPPING:

Ingredients
1 8 oz. tub Cool Whip thawed
1 basket Strawberries for garnish (if desired)

Directions
1. Layer Cool Whip over entire pie.

2. Garnish with more strawberries (if desired)

3. Place in the refrigerator for about an hour, then serve and enjoy!
