ENGLISH TRIFLE

CHEF'S NOTES AND COMMENTS:

You can substitute type of cake, fruit and/or pudding.

INGREDIENTS:

1 pound cake, cubed
1 large can of fruit cocktail
1 large package of pudding + 4 cups of milk
1 container cool whip or other whipped topping

INSTRUCTIONS:

Prep Time: approximately 20 minutes

A. Prepare pudding:

1. In a trifle bowl or other clear bowl begin layering:
2. Half of each of the ingredients,
3. Cubed pound cake.
4. Sprinkle 2-3 tablespoons of juice from the fruit over pound cake.
5. Fruit on top of that, then pudding, then cool whip.
B. Repeat process. Garnish with fruit pieces.

Serves 8
